Greensboro Zine Fest Presents: How to Make a Zine!

Greensboro Zine Fest Presents
How to Make a Zine!

Sunday, July 21, 2pm

Our How to Zine Workshop is a free, interactive workshop where we show attendees how to make a mini-zine in preparation for the Greensboro Zine Fest!

The Greensboro Zine Fest was originally started as an offshoot event of the Hand-to-Hand Market and was called the Hand-to-Hand Zine & Print Fest. It was first held at a local brewery. Then in 2017, it was renamed and called the Greensboro Zine Fest and was held in its new home, the WAMRev Gallery in historic Revolution Mill.

The Greensboro Zine Fest is organized by a small group of volunteers called the GSO Zine Team. We believe that the #gsozinefest is an opportunity to give the Greensboro, NC community a chance to explore, create, and discover all the possibilities that printed matter can be used for sharing our personal stories, skills, and ideas.

The Greensboro Zine Fest is held annually on the last Sunday of July, which happens to be International Zine Month. The first and third Sundays of July, the GSO Zine Team offers free community zine workshops in Greensboro. During the day of the #gsozinefest, free workshops and talks are scheduled so that more ideas and skills related to zines and printed matter are passed along to our community.
