John Green Extravaganza! Film screening at Carolina Theatre & Midnight Release Party for "Turtles All The Way Down" at Scuppernong

Scuppernong Books and the Carolina Theatre are joining together to create an extravaganza in anticipation of the release of John Green’s first novel in five years. On Monday, October 9, the Carolina Theatre will present The Fault in Our Stars at 7:00 pm and Scuppernong will give away a free signed copy of the new book, Turtles All the Way Down, to one lucky filmgoer.

After the film, we’ll all walk over to Scuppernong Books for a night of John Green related fun. We’ll have continuous showing of John and Hank Green YouTube features, a John Green trivia contest with prizes, a station to write John Green letters to bring him to Greensboro, a DFTBA John Green dress-up booth and Nerd Fighter Science Camp–all leading to the midnight release of Turtles All the Way Down. The first 40 purchasers receive a signed copy!

Tickets are $7 for adults; $6 for students, teachers, seniors & military. Prices include sales tax.

Please note: There is an additional $3.50 per ticket web fee for Internet purchases; call the Carolina Theatre Box Office at 336-333-2605 to avoid those charges. (Tickets are also available at the door.) You can opt to have tickets mailed to you for a $1 postage fee, or you can pick up tickets in will call for no additional charge.
