Little Kids, Big Feelings with Molly Felder

Wednesday, October 14 7PM EST

Little kids have big feelings, and just because they’re young doesn’t mean they don’t understand or experience emotional complexity. We’ll look at how to handle ambivalence when writing for children, and why to avoid completely resolved emotions.

Molly Felder received her M.A. from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she focused on creative writing and disability culture. She is committed to representing children of all abilities in her writing and loves teaching English to Chinese students online. In 2016, Molly and her assistance dog, Patterson, attended the Highlights Foundation Kid's Book Revision Retreat together in beautiful Honesdale, Pennsylvania. She lives in Alabama.

Five Ways of Looking at Children's Publishing is a series of five workshops on Writing and Publishing for children. Each workshop is presented by a successful children's author.
