SEND WORD: Save the USPS Edition
(Scroll Down for Log-In Information)
The United States Postal Service is in grave danger—and that means not only our ability to send letters to loved ones and packages for our small businesses are under threat, but our right to safely vote. SEND WORD, a portable correspondence station created by Anna Lena Phillips Bell, is normally an encouragement to send word to family and friends, with stationery from featured letterpress printers, and on-demand support from its maker for formatting and writing letters.
In the midst of a pandemic, with our very ability to send and receive mail in question, this on-screen edition of SEND WORD is a call to action. Gather your favorite writing implement, your postcards and stamps, and join us for an hour of letter and email writing, petition-signing, and rabble-rousing on behalf of this beloved institution. We'll make it easy to do your part to defend the USPS. Join us, and WRITE A LETTER TODAY!
Louis DeJoy, the current Postmaster General of the US Postal Service is a resident of Greensboro and serves on the Board of Trustees of Elon University. You can write to him specifically, and we'll have other addresses for you too.
